Day Eleven : Blizzard conditions

Woke up for our last day to blizzard conditions, snow falling heavily and really strong winds. I had used up all my days skiing on my ticket, so decided not to go out (wasn't worth buying a ticket for one very windy run). The others promised they would let me know if the conditions were okay and I would come out. I received a message saying I would hate it, so didn't bother to go out. They were out for about four hours and only did four runs. Lift queues were really long because not much was open, lifts were slow (windy) and the runs were really windy. The snow was pretty good by all reports.
I walked up to meet Marg at Rhythm so she could return her skis and boots (I took her snow boots up). Waited ages for the local bus which didn't come, so had to walk. At least with all the snow it wasn't icy!
We just hung around for the afternoon, worrying about road closures and whether we would be able to get to the airport tomorrow.
Had tea at Yummi's again - the conditions were so bad we didn't want to venture out any further.
Hong Kong tomorrow .... We hope!
